Box Office Assistant – NEON – Jurassic World Experience

NEON Global is a leading global experience entertainment company dedicated to creating extraordinary, immersive, and large-scale experiences.
We have both full and part-time contracts available. This role will run from the middle of May 2025 until early January 2026 with a rate of £13.85 per hour.
Role Description:
- We are immensely excited to bring NEON to life in London in our brand new venue, located at the iconic Battersea Power Station.
- You’ll play an instrumental role in creating an outstanding visitor experience for our guests to the Jurassic World Experience, an amazing immersive exhibition featuring life-sized animatronic dinosaurs.
- We are creating an experience for visitors of all ages and as a Box Office Assistant you will welcome guests and assist them into the venue, handle any ticket queries, assist with ticket purchasing and offer additional items to help make visits extra special.
- Ideally you’ll have some box office or retail experience in a venue or theatre or at an event. We can teach the system we will be using and we’d love you to bring enthusiasm, friendliness and a love of interaction with people and problem solving.

Responsibilities:
- Sales & Service: Embrace the Jurassic World experience, following training guidelines and standards to reflect brand excellence.
- Floor Presence & Maintenance: Provide excellent customer service skills, demonstrate great selling abilities, and exhibit motivation to succeed.
- Cashier Duties: Perform cashier duties at a fast pace, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with accuracy.
- Ticket Sales and Redemption: Sell and redeem tickets for guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Check-in Guests: Greet and check-in guests, providing information about the exhibition and ensuring a positive start to their visit.
- Selling Floor Appearance: Follow company guidelines to maintain the appearance of the selling floor, including placing/hanging back items and replenishing merchandise after sales.
- Back of House Support: Assist in opening and closing store activities, restocking, and supporting inventory processes such as receiving and handling stock, pricing, and tagging.
Required skills:
- Flexible Schedule: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
- POS Experience: Previous experience working with POS systems preferred.
- Physical Abilities: Must be able to perform all retail floor functions, including standing for extended periods, stock/retrieve merchandise, lift/push/pull 20-25lbs, and unload shipments.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year’s related experience in retail or a venue/event box office.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Player: Willing to work in and promote a team-oriented environment, showing a positive attitude and taking responsibility for own actions.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills required to ensure clear, effective communication with customers, management, and staff.
- Results-Driven: Must be results-driven and flexible to change
