About The Role

The Talent Acceleration team is a strategic partner to the business and exists to help leaders and teams deliver outrageously extraordinary (OE) results through a mix of: (i) end to-end talent practices (e.g. onboarding, leader development); (ii) leader-led solutions, that are integrated into employees’ day-to-day work (e.g. toolkits or resources deployed at team level); and (iii) longer term high impact initiatives (e.g. that look at how we drive impact to business ways of working). We are assembling an unstoppable team of talent practitioners within the team, who aren’t constrained by the latest trends or conventional business dogma but are able to blend the pragmatism of “what’s right for our business” with a spirit of innovation that says, “how might we make this extraordinary?”.

The Talent Acceleration Lead role will oversee and develop several products/initiatives across the EMEA region, working very closely with the Senior Director of Talent Acceleration, EMEA (who this role will report into) as well as key stakeholders (such as our global People & Culture team members). The “product categories” this role will focus on building out, include, Leadership and Team effectiveness. First-hand experience with Aspen-style leadership seminars and/or Organizational Development experience will be useful in this role. You will also need to be able to support other initiatives within the space as necessary (e.g. how we support high potential talent, for example). This is a hybrid based role, three days a week, in our iconic Battersea, London office.

Consulting & Design Thinking

 Surface opportunities and identify actions that can drive impact to our ways of working across the business, within and outside of practices and programs  Work across functional teams, including teams responsible for our iconic products, to deeply understand challenges, pain points and convert these into “user stories” or “case studies” that can inform design.

Product Leadership

 Be the point of contact for “product areas” (such as those listed above), who understands the features and elements of the product or initiative (i.e. what it’s solving for, how employees can use or apply it).  In close collaboration with key partners and stakeholders, lead on the design and development of useful, engaging solutions/resources/experiences, across leadership and team effectiveness to help impact our fast-growing EMEA region.

Partnership & Engagement

Take a prototyping and user-testing approach to the work, getting inspiration from from our own customer-facing product development teams, on how to continue to infuse a product mindset through our work.  Be able to lead delivery (facilitation, running workshops, offsites etc.) as needed, in partnership with senior leaders and HR Business Partners.

Ideally, 10+ years of relevant experience and 3+ years of leading programs or initiatives Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and navigates ambiguity well: For instance, you might have successfully led a project with tight deadlines and shifting requirements, ensuring timely delivery while adapting to new information and changes. The ability to self-manage, take initiative, and work independently: For example, you may have led projects where you’ve taken a brief and built an end-to-end process, or identified a gap in an approach and helped plug this gap whilst collaborating closely with stakeholders throughout. You’ll balance a strong bias for action, with the need to develop high quality solutions: For example, you might have quickly developed a prototype to address an urgent audience need, while simultaneously planning for a more robust, long-term solution to ensure high quality and sustainability. When you build talent products/initiatives, you’ll be someone who focusses on ensuring you have a genuine grasp of what you’re solving for. For example, you may be familiar with any of the following ideas and processes: First Principles Thinking, Systems Thinking, or 5Di You’re humble and curious to learn. For example, you’ll be someone who actively seeks out feedback without being asked and knows how to frame questions to get context (perhaps you have some experience in coaching or consulting, just as an example).
